		<description>It's been over two weeks since you wrote this post, but I just noticed that friendfeed updates itself, without users having to refresh the page. However, the title bar doesn't get updated with the number of updates.</description>

		<description>In regards to your last point about topping up Socialthing (which I've been using since it launched in March) by making the update notification popup with AJAX (just like in Gmail)... What makes you think Socialthing isn't already doing this? How else would it pop up? As for just like Gmail, why not just like Socialthing? It's the same type of notification.</description>
